    Thank you Charles!

    It is QuickTime, but the updater annoyed (notice the tense) me about Safari
    as well.

    I shoulda remembered that trick! You must be almost as old as I am ;-)

    3.03 is the most recent. it fixes a number of security-related issues and
    other problems.

    Let's just say that I remember when DataFlex was "new" technology and that
    the first hard disk drive for a PC that I ever saw was a 5 MB external
    drive that took three days to format (plus you still had to boot on a
    floppy with a device driver to access it).

    .... and I was into computers well BEFORE that<vbg>
