    Default *htaccess and 404

Hi all. It looks like my webhotel, will allow me to change *.htaccess
file, so now i will try to make a good 404 page not found site, but I
have forgotten how to make it in NOF. I can not find anything in the
usermanual, but I remember something about making a childpage, which i
mark "do not publish" and underneath I make the 404 page? So that It
will not show in the navigation ! IS that correct ? and is there any
advice in how make a very good 404 page? should I take more error codes
    also ?

    Thanks in advance.

    Robert,

Create the 404 page in NOF the way you describe and publish remotely.. Then
make the .htaccess file with the following contents:

    ErrorDocument 404 http://www.yourdomain.com/404redirect.html
    -
Make changes to yourdomain and the file name to match your path. Upload it
to your root (on server) and then test.
    -
Let us know if you get stuck.
