    Default can you use nof on 2 computers to upload to one website server?

    im doing a website for my friend who has an estate agents
    he wants me to build the website

    im happy to do this, but i would like to lock a few pages so he cant muck
    about with them
    i want to alllow him to use three or four to put houses on and thats it

    would this be possible for me to load it onto his computer
    upload stuff from my home one
    and he can upload stuff from his office?

    would this work

    You would have two separate nod files (one for him; one for yourself) with
    external links to each other. If you change anything major on your side,
    you would have to get him to send you a template of his nod so you could
    make his look the same. This could be a bit of a hassle down the road -
    especially if you make many design changes.

    Also, since nof likes to name the first page of any site index.htm, you
    would have to keep his nod in a subfolder on the domain. That way his index
    page won't be competing with yours.

    You might also consider using CMS (content management system).

    This is what nPower is for
    http://www.netobjects.com/html/netobjects_npower.html it allows 2 people to
    work on one NOF web site and for you to control what the other can work on.

    It's free. AFAIK the only thing you can't do is create a new site - you
    have to open from a template or .nfc file...
