Default How do I recover my website from my hosting company

    All:
I have my website published online with my hosting company and I recently
had a computer failure and ended reformating my drive and lost all my data
including all my web pages. I have just re-installed NOF 10 and wanted to
know how I can recover my website from my hosting company.

I have access to my cpanel on my hosting site but want to know how I can
restore my websites and edit it using netobjects. Any help will be highly
    appreciated.

    Maybe.

NOF does have a create from existing web site option.
    It may work for you.
I had one file that could not be copies that kept me from using that
    procedure.
By any change have you place a templete of you site on the site as a backup?

There is no way to restore it as is was unless you exported as template
and uploaded the template to the server. The version manager is also a
great backup tool as well. While it may slow down the software, it has
    the benefit of being automated.

My suggestion is to download the files from the server and backup the
current site. You can use the import from site feature but you'll find
it less than satisfactory in restoring your site as it once was. If you
don't have a backup, you may find it better to redo the site from scratch.

What is on your site was generated by NOF, it is not the template you used
to create it. In other words, you could download all the graphics again,
html files, folders etc but it basically won't do you a bit of good except
to possibly use as a page layout and guide. You have no choice but to start
over for a fully editable site using NOF.
I had this happen once, after that fiasco I religiously make templates
weekly after changes and save backups to external drives. It takes time but
I have been able to restore every site since.
