Default Adding a list of text styles to Fusion from external .txt file

We used to be able to add a list of text styles into Fusion from the Add Text Styles dialog, in Style view I seem to remember. It was about 2 mouse clicks & in they came, style after style after style-which is a lot easier than Fusion's clunky old way of creating one text style after another.

However, I'm unable to do so in V10. I asked Tech Support but after I interpreted their instructions (whew) & attempted to carry them out the nett result was: the new styles were not selectable on the page. When set to a text block or paragraph, they didn't show in Page Layout view.

I also tried copying from my external .txt file to paste into the CSS Common/wherever palletes but also no go.

We use a reasonable number of preset text styles in all our sites & once I get the text list into Fusion's Blank Site template I'll have it for all time.

We definitely DON'T want the .txt/CSS file to be an externally-referenced file either if it can be avoided. Simple is best here for us.

I'd really appreciate it if a competent Fusion user would explain to me in simple steps how to go about this, thanks.

    Cheers

Default Re: Adding a list of text styles to Fusion from external .txt file

Not sure if I qualify as a competent NOF user, but I've just (in the
last hour or so) been trying to add own CSS sheet to a site in v10...

So far, I've got as far as writing the CSS, file, going to the 'Style'
view, right-clicking on 'Active Styles' and taking 'Add CSS file'. After
picking the file and selecting 'Site-wide' (this just appears to affect
which pages the <link rel=stylesheet...> tag appears in), the file is
added to the styles list. It appears to apply quite happily to the
elements I've hand-coded (good old Ctrl-T), but I'm not sure how I would
apply a style from my sheet to an element on a page - is that actually
    possible?

One hiccup seems to be (at the moment) that NOF doesn't spot that I've
edited the CSS file. I suspect that a copy gets incorporated as an asset
for the site and the original isn't checked.
