Thread: Submit without Forms Handler

Default Re: Submit without Forms Handler

I don't know. I upgraded to 10 a few months ago, and NOF's site says there
are no updates available. I rebooted the machine and tried again. I got
the menu and finished the process. But when I tested what had published, it
could not find the page. I have wasted so much time trying to make forms
work that I'm seriously considering dropping back to NOF8. I hate to
retrofit four sites, but if I'm going to waste the time anyway, why not.

    Thanks for your help.

Not quite as complicated, but I hope now fixed. We'll see tomorrow. The
problem was me working with a new NOF version (for me) and a brand new site
on the wrong server. I have three other sites on Linux servers that
support PHP so forms work fine. I finally checked with 1and1.com, my host,
and found that this new account was set up on a Microsoft server (my
mistake). Today they are switching the account to Linux.

Question: Can I customize the form if I set it up using the Forms Handler
component as you show on the tutorial? Thanks for your help and patience.
If it doesn't work now my severe frustration will be channeled into a new
    line of work.

You can customize the form fields using the formshandler, if that is what
you mean...? If you mean the form style, you can customize that with the
CSS styles in the Style view.
