    From http://www.netobjects.com/html/upgrade.html:

"Can I use Fusion 11 to manage sites for use with NetObjects nPower?
Not at this time. Currently NetObjects nPower is compatible only with sites
built with Fusion 10. No information is available at this time about nPower
    for 11."

It's alright for you in the States and those with masked ISPs but they want
to charge me 109? and they include VAT at 19%, don't know where they get
that one from, ours is 14%. At todays exchange rate including the correct
rate of VAT it should be 80?. Rip off. I buy plently of other software in
dollars and pay through a UK sterling account.

WSP has republished the NetObjects website using XHTML. Check it out.

    Chuck,

Yeah, noticed the box version isn't available. But then, can't remember
the last time I bought a boxed upgrade :-). Like I said in my original
post, think I'd still like to see a trial version before parting with
the cash (87UKP unless I can find a good masker, in which case 56UKP at
    the current rate!).

I've hand-cranked AJAX stuff before in NOF, it'd be nice to have a
ready-rolled framework to play with. If the XHTML option includes the
strict DTD, that ticks my box... If the database enhancements or more
than cosmetic, that's a big plus too.

I'm assuming you've had access to the beta or something - unless you
were *real* quick off the mark buying the thing!

Chuck's a Beta Tester which is why he and some of the other guys are so
helpful in the early days (and the latter ones). I always keep a close eye
on the latest version news groups when a new release arrives. It makes some
very interesting reading. Full credit to all the Beta testers who contribute
to these groups and make our lives sooo much easier with the learning
    curves..

    Mike,

They're referring to the source view of HTML connected with a design
    element.

The old grey upper pane showing pre-gen code and tabs below for inserting
your code that then appears in blue above is gone. (in Layout HTML, for
    example)

Now you get a window and can edit most of the pre-gen code and insert your
    own code. Much nicer.

I just nearly cracked. I got as far as the cart and found that I'm
expected to pay more than 50% more than my American counterparts. Bugger
    that. One lost sale, Netobjects.

Not to mention that you can resize the CTRL+T HTML insertion window now and
    it will **REMEMBER** the size<g>.

Can you edit the code on the page outside of NOF and have NOF leave it alone
next time you have to work on a page inside of NOF?
    That would be nice.
