Default update #3 and now #4 any problems??

I have not updated 10 with update #3 and now there is #4. I guess I am
afraid they will screw up things and all my third party components might
    stop working etc..
I have a long time site that has 480 pages and full of lots of components
etc.. This site has been built using NOF for years and keeps up with the
changes but I do not want to screw up what is not broke.
    Any experiences along these lines?

    Thanks

Updates to 10 didn't break any third party components that weren't already
    broken in the initial release.

Some component makers chose to not keep up with the changes in Fusion.

I have a few sites that sound similar to yours in size and number of third
party components.... and I couldn't wait to apply these updates. You really
should go with update #4 if you plan to continue using NOF10. Lot's of bug
    fixes and performance enhancements.

Will someone please tell me what is the absolute latest version number
of NOF 10? I keep hearing of updates when the software keeps telling me
there are no updates. I only updated twice.

The update page still only shows Update 3. Update 4 is still on
pre-release status and only available from the pre-release page.

Have they just forgotten to elevate its status and bring it 'out in the
open' or are they still working on some issues with the PR version?

    Richard,

NOF 10 update #3 is the last official public release.
    http://www.netobjects.com/html/product_updates.html

There is however, Update #4 that is available from the pre-release area. I
would suggest that you join the pre-release news group for more information
about the long list of changes included in this update.
    http://www.netobjects.com/html/newsgroups.html

It has been available as a pre-release version for about three months (I
don't know why WSP hasn't promoted it to the public area). I'm not aware of
any 'new' problems with this update, and it does address lots of old issues.

    Larry,

I've been using update #4 virtually since it (pre!)released. To me it
seems more stable than #3, even though it's not a 'proper' release yet.
At one point I thought I'd have to back out to #3, but that just turned
out to be me having the (rather unnecessary) Netscape 4 compatibility
turned on... So go with #4 would be my shout.

Yes, update #3 is OK, and #4 is even better. Better still is NOF 11.
