Default NOF crashed - lost site

Working on 25-35 page web site just now. Saving as I go. Something funky
happens, so i do a re-optimize site. It seems to just get hung up on the
home page, then boom NOF shuts down. I try to reopen it, it goes through the
motions of re-opening the site, says site style has been deleted, then it
opens and I see one page, the home page, which is blank with some default
NOF style. It also said something about having no backup files. What in the
    world?

I try to find backups in the backup folder there are four in there, i open
the latest one and it is the same as what i opened moments before.

Has anyone else had this happen and what did you do? (besides pull your hair
    out?)

Yes, it happened to me, I had to go back a couple of backups to find one
that worked, then I had to track down all the assets and relocate them,
but the site style was lost forever and I still have issues with it.

Also check the recovery folder, you might be able to use that version.
