Default PNG loses transparency as layout background

    Hi everyone

I'm having real trouble with PNG transparency in NOF 10. Have brought in the
original files, which looks like this:

    http://www.seasonsconference.com/shouldbelikethis/

However, I created a layout area, set the background and put the other
content in and looks like this:

    http://www.seasonsconference.com/preview/

What are the other options to get the transparency again? Should I use a
table like in the original site? Or would I need to import it into 11 and
    use XHTML and CSS?

Hopefully someone can help, this is driving me crazy!
BTW, is PNG preview support/preview better in 11?

    Thanks
    Carl

Wait a little. Answers won't necessarily come in just a few hours.

Go to tools>Options> Application settings, and make sure your picture
settings are set to best GIF. If they are set to JPG, it will change the
PNG to JPG, as NOF does seem to use PNG in it original form.

    1. Convert your PNGs to right format, acceptable by NOF 10.
You can do it with old Paint Shop Pro 9. Simply load your
PNG file in PSP9 and export it as PNG. No less, no more.

    2. Above doesn't fix PNG transparency problem in IE6 or lower.
    I recommend SuperSleight script:

....and you should avoid converting PNG to GIF or resizing.
    It looks awfully.
Try to prepare PNG of right size
    to avoid resizing by NOF.
