Default Custom name on button of Nav Bar

I didn't want to cross post, but there is no action on version 11. Any
    suggetions for this?

If I have an external link in the custom navigation bar, how can I change the
name to something usefull instead of it displaying the entire address?
(which is way too long anyway)

Default Re: Custom name on button of Nav Bar

In both 10 and 11 just do the following

1 with the navigation tool drag the toolbar
    2. in the navigation properties put the dot in the custom radio button
    3. Choose any internal links on the left and by pressing the add button
move them to the right (custom button side)
    4. Now drop down the list (link type) and choose external
    5. Put in the external link in the new link box and then save.
    6. When you click save, it goes into the link list on the left and it is
    selected.
    7. With the link selected choose add to add that link to the custom
    button side.
    8. ON the right side, the custom button side, find the link that you
    just entered.
    9. Select it and then click once after it is selected.
    10. It is now in edit mode just like renaming a folder etc.
    11. Put the name that you would to call it.
    12 done.

    I hope this helps.
