Asset restoring after a major crash
I just had a major crash using re-optimizer, (which seems the most unstable
part of the whole programme), but I was able to open a saved template of the
site and begin afresh. This was all well and good, but I like to keep all
assets, (mostly images), in separate folders for a particular page, but they
have all come back in the main assets folder. The individual folders are
still there as well, so is there a way to revert a complete page of images,
(about ten on average, or better still the complete site), to read from the
assets in the page folders, without doing each image individually. I sure
hope so, because I've got over 350 images on this site. By the way, I have
to publish the site Flat.

Re: Asset restoring after a major crash
If I understand your question, you want to move assets to another folder in
your site?
Go to Publish View. Right click to create a new folder. Click on images or
use Shift+click or Ctrl+click to select many images. Hit Ctrl+X to cut.
Switch to the new folder and hit paste or Ctrl+V. Hit Ctrl+S to save.
Does this help?

Re: Asset restoring after a major crash
Hi Nancy,
No, that's not the problem, and I didn't think I described it very well, so
I'll try again. I've made a site with a load of rental houses in it,
www.villa-rental-orlando-florida.co.uk. Each house has about ten images in
its own separate folder, with the path to these images through the folder.
This means I can easily delete, and/or not publish, a complete house folder.
Having lost the whole thing in a re-optimization freeze up, (where all that
was left of the structure was the home page!!!#$@*) I revert to a previously
saved template of the whole site, (.zip) but all the assets are now lumped
into the one assets folder, and paths to the images are to that folder. The
original houses folders are still there, with the same assets in them, so is
there a mass method to get the images to point to the original in the
individual house folder - without re-pointing each image separately?
