I have been trying to get information from 1ahost all day but have yet to
    get a responce.
Is there some reason why this should happen today?
    hopefully this is not normal.

You should have a reply by now Tony. I will be kicking A**E tomorrow. No
excuses for sloppy responses from the company.

Ian, I'm very confussed with the process.
I want only to upload my website and piont my current domain forwarding
service to it at this time in an effort to try things out.
perhaps I am misunderstanding the terminology but when I go to the site and
click on host a domain I get a search screen that seems to be checking
availibility of the domain. when I type my domain in
"pioneerrefrigeration.com" it says the domain is availible and showes
registered under status. what is this screen looking for?

As far as I am aware this was explained to you off group. You currently have
a developers site to experiment with and your own site that you mention in
these groups, pioneerrefrigeration.com was not the one you tried to register
    for hosting.
