I've already made screen cuts, what more do you want?

    Two different machines?

Forgot to mention, one machine on a domain, the other isn't [if you know
windows, you can figure out which machine that is]

Are you logged onto a domain when trying to install?
Are you logged on as administrator on the domain?
Are you logged on as Administrator "locally"?

Sometimes you have to install applications as
administrator "locally" to get everything registered right.

After watching your video I would say you have no write
permissions to the box which means you did not install locally
    as administrator.

I would try that. Logon as administrator locally
then add an account for the user at the domain level
"locally" giving the user power user rights.

    Jeff,

I think the point is that if a developer cannot reproduce a bug, there is no
fix possible. As a fellow software developer, you should be aware of this.

The second point is there are some folks here trying to help you figure this
out. Getting frustrated is one thing, but biting the helping hand?

    Yeah, right.

Just finished uninstalling it, rename the folder, shutting down all other
software including my MySQL/MS-SQL server, AntiVirus, firewall,...
    Then I reinstalled NOF 9.
    Rebooted
Opened up NOF 9 and guess what? Nothing changed - same issues.

    Could it be hardware?
The two machines are nothing like each other. The ONLY things that are the same
hardware wise is dual monitor support [I run two monitors].

Could it be some other software running on my machines?
Well, both are running a lot of the same types of software but do run different
firewalls/antivirus software. Yes, both machines I use for development so I do
have a lot of development related software installed such as Dreamweaver,
    VS.NET, VFP 9, MySql and MS-SQL developers editions but I don't have a problem
    with anything else not working.

    Could it be the OS?
XP Pro running on a domain and Windows Media Edition 2005 not running on a
domain. Yes, I know that WME is pretty much XP Pro without domain support but
with extra added goodies. I do have some W2K Pro/Server, 2003 boxes I could try
but I can't really seeing this to be a problem with the OS.

Could it be a problem with getting the upgrade version instead of the full
version? That is a possibility. I didn't uninstall version 8

Could it be an issue with the antiquated WinZIP installation?
Well, I haven't bought any serious software that still uses it in quite some
time but I don't think it is an installation issue.

Could it be a 'user issue'?
I'm not your typical user. I write software for a living, I develop web
applications for a living [asp.net mostly with MS-SQL backends running on web
servers that are in my office and under my control], I am the system
admin/dba/web-email server admin, anything else that is plugged in admin for
over 50 users in two states, three cities. I have been developing sites using
Dreamweaver, NOF, .NET, text editors for years. You would think that I would
know enough to create and save a file.

But of course, it couldn't be NOF could it. The first flawless software that has
    ever been developed.

    Developer:
"But it works on my system"

Oops, found another bug while attempting to file a problem ticket, if you enter
a login that it doesn't exist in the system, you will get a 404 error.

And yet another bug. When you try to create a login to "open a ticket', you will
    get a friendly message: http://www.turbofish.com/nof9-5.gif

Come on folks, haven't you all heard of Q/A?

Do you really need pictures for everything?
Under the column "Type" does it look like it says NetObject Fusion Template to
    you?

Do you see a zip extension on this?

    What helping hand?
All I have heard here is "Can't be NOF fault"

Maybe you can't get the error messages, I can't find a machine that I DON'T
    reproduce the same errors.

This means logon as administrator locally
    uninstall
    reinstall
    open fusion
    close fusion

create a power user account locally for the
    domain user

    logoff
logon as user on domain and everything "should" work
