Well...... most of my desktops and all laptops at my company run XP...purely
    because of software availability.

Almost all of my servers run Linux. I have a lone MS Small Business Server
    on a smallish network.

I used to do alot of VBA programming around Access (late 90's)......but have
since converted entirely to PHP/MySQL on Linux.

It is more of a mac/unix term and now that I know more of where you are coming
    from [Unix], I understand

Today, I just killed our Linux server - on purpose. Yeah, it was stable but too
many compatability issues with the rest of our system plus it was a total
resource hog. Our domain server/SQL server runs W2K, as does our file server and
our web-email server runs 2003. We do a lot of ASP and ASP.NET stuff and the
2003 server runs like a champ. In fact, I refuse to host any web sites on
    anything but IIS 5/6.

    No, not yet
I'm still in the process of building up a new box - silly user wanted the first
box I put together. Next I will try it on 2003 just for grins. Just not enough
    hours in the day.

I have found a way of cheating the system by creating blank projects, copying
the correct folders into the User Files folder and running them from there.

Is there any way you can create new projects that are not in the User File
    folder?

    Hi Jeff,

Did you resolve the issue within this thread?

I click on a new folder to save the file at and click save
It then returns me back to the User Sites folder where of course, it will not
    save.

This isn't an isolated issues. By my count, there has been four others here who
have had the same issues with saving files.

You can create sites and save them anywhere you want. They don't have to go
    in User Sites.

    Fusion doesn't care.

I have Fusion on my C drive and sites on a different physical drive.
