Default Issue running in non-admin profile

Just installed NOF9. I do all installations from an administrator
    profile, then run
the software from a restricted profile for security reasons, etc. After
    installing the
software, I ran it once in the admin profile then logged into my main
    account and get
    this error during startup:

"Incorrect version of FSI.dll detected. Please reinstall NetObjects
    Fusion to fix..."

Which I did... and it didn't :-) Anyone else running this kind of set up
    and seen anything
like it? Not sure what to do at this point, but stick with 8.4. BTW,
    nPower gives the same
error, but runs fine from the Admin account. Thanks for any insight.

    Stephen,

I ran into this with Fusion 8 on a machine on a network. I ended up
    reinstalling windows.

But the problem is caused by ownership of the files. In my case I was in a
    domain.

Check the settings are in "NetObjects System/Profiles/<user name>". Since
you ran Fusion as admin, the folder permissions may be wrong.

Give rights to that folder and children to your restricted user and see if
    it works.

Also che k permissions on your Fusion program and all sub folders if the
    above doesn't help.

    Hi Rev Mike,
I'm a power user. I'll try that. It seems I had another app a while back
    that I had to tweak
permissions in the registry for... I'll report my findings. Thanks.

There may be some registry settings that need to be fired
I would give your other account admin rights login as the other
account open fusion, close fusion, then reset the account

Are you a member of the Users Group or Power Users
Makes a big difference in what gets registered

    Hi Chuck,
I've tried every combination of permissions I can think of. Taken
    ownership/added permissions
in the system folder, the main Fusion 9 folder, even down to the .dll in
    question. Still getting the
error message. Not sure where to go from here. Is it just me? :-) or do
    most people run as
administrators? If anyone has any other suggestion... I'd appreciate.
    Thanks again.

Have you tried running the program as Admin from your restricted account?
This will solve these types of issues on many apps that behave this way...

Right click on the exe and select "Run as..." then check the 2nd toggle
button and input your Admin acct settings.
