Custom Style 7.0 to 9.0
Okay, I know you guys are tired of hearing from me, but I have another problem.
I recently purchased 9.0. Tonight I was in the process creating backup templates of my 7.0 files to import into 9.0. For some reason, I had the two versions open at the same time and decided to go ahead and add my 7.0 custom styles as a local style set to 9.0. Then when I went back into my 7.0 all of the style assets were gone. The list is still there, but no assets. When opening a 7.0 .nod file, anything pertaining to it's 7.0 custom style is gone. I get the "red x, unavailable" box. I know the style assets have to be somewhere, as I didn't delete them, I just don't know where to look. (I did try the recycle bin.)
I'm again at a standstill until I can resolve this problem. Your help is much appreciated.

Re: Custom Style 7.0 to 9.0
You've been preaching that all day Chuck and I've been listening. I was in
the process of creating templates for all the sites to do just as you say.
I guess my downfall was having both versions open at the same time.
HOWEVER - - -
Did you hear my big sigh of relief? Somehow the files got moved to
c:/programfiles/styles. I copied (and hesitantly overwrote with fingers
crossed) them back into the c:/programfiles/netobjects7/styles folder and
(it seems) everything is back in working order. Thank the Lord!
And thanks again for your help and guidance Chuck!

First off...don't open 7 and 9 at the same time.
9 (build 5007) shouldn't allow you to open a previous version alongside
it....but it does.
Do any copying of styles or components with both versions closed.
Don't try to copy content from a 7 (or 7.5 or 8) site to a site in 9.
Instead, create a template in 7 and make a new site from it in 9.
