Default 'An error occurred while publishing page "Home". '

    Hi Everyone,

Hope someone can help decipher this error message:

    >> An error occurred while publishing page "Home". This page has not been

generated. Check that the location of the page or its embedded objects has not
    changed. <<

I had started a new site (NOF11)and all was going well until I got the above
error message today. I get the message on Preview and on Local Publish. The
index.html is empty- 0KB??? Since I haven't gotten much done I think it might
be best to just start the site over but I would really like to know what may
have caused such an error so I don't do it again. Any ideas?

Another quick question- how come whenever I click on Click For Updates there is
    never an update?

    Thanks,
    Mollie

    1) Are you copying & pasting formatted text or tables from MS Office or
other apps into your NOF pages? This can lead to errors.

Use Edit > Paste > Special > Unformatted. This will strip away any hidden
    junk code from Office text.

    2) During long editing sessions, use Ctrl+S often to save your work. This
    frees up available ram memory.

    3) If the program becomes sluggish, re-optimize your site. Or Close the
    nod, and NOF and restart.

HINT: As soon as you have mapped out your basic layout, go to Site View >
File > Export > Template > Entire site.
Do this every hour or so while developing a new site as a backup. If things
go terribly wrong, you can create a new site from the last saved Template
and continue without losing an entire day's work.

You probably have the current update. Click on Help > About to see which
    version you have.

Thanks Nancy. I appreciate your help! I didn't copy and paste anything but I
did "try on" quite a few different site styles. You think that might have
    caused a problem?
