Default Flash buttons - Sitestyle view different from Page View

I wonder if I have clicked or unclicked something by mistake.

In the Sitestyle the flash nav bars display correctly. On the page, and when
published, they default to a very plain colored rectangle - none of the 3d
    effects.

What have I done or missed here? I have tried several styles and have the
    same result with all.

    Thanks.

If you have Flash Viewer 8 on your PC (ie in Internet Explorer etc) then you
may need to change your security settings for the Flash Buttons to work/show
    correctly.

    http://www.macromedia.com/support/do...manager04.html
This page will tell you what your settings are. You can adjust them here
    also.

I don´t know if that was the issue but it could be.

Unfortunately in SiteStyle only the horizontal navbar is displayed. However
the settings you change in StyleView apply to both. In page view you should
see the settings apply regardless of orientation.

    thanks,

    Ali,

The vertical and horizontal navbar is different in color and effects. The
one in Site Style is a horizontal navbar. The Page View by default is
vertical. Their design is different. Is it possible that you are talking
    about this difference?

    thanks,
    Attila, WSP

Flash can be a pain in the ass, I stopped using anything that required
plug-ins years ago, It really is an unnecessary addition, I bar sites with
excessive flash on because I thing its ''geeky''

Well done Attila. That is it. But out of interest, how can I see that from
SiteStyle view? Is there another place? The graphical buttons are usually
the same horizontal or vertical, so it is a departure with the new Flash
    navbars.

    Thanks for spotting it.
