Thread: crashes on launch

    Default Re: crashes on launch

    Hi Jonathan,
And it crashes in Safe Mode?! I have other issues with NOF but crashing on
launch isn't one of them (so far, thank goodness). Adobe CS2 and Nero
shouldn't cause conflicts but not too sure about the other 2 as I don't use
them. I'm assuming you're running XP and not ME or Win 2000. I'm also
assuming you have no problems with other apps including an earlier version
of NOF. That said, you are using the NOF LAUNCH utility to start NOF9, not
    the desktop shortcut - right?

It could be an adware or spyware conflict or a registry problem that is
messing up something NOF9 needs to work right. Scan your hard drives with
anti-spyware and antivirus to rule out those first two problems. Failing
that, use a utility to scrub your registry file but make backups before you
do this. And if all that fails, keep bugging NOF tech support.

    So sorry for your grief,
    --Nancy
