Re: OT... new computer recommendations?
I'll vouch for ABS. I've owned 2 systems from there, both AMD, both
built to my specs. ABS has incredible prices and incredible support that
is second to none. I had the same tech support person for several years,
through both systems, although I haven't contacted support in a couple
of years now. He talked me through motherboard changes and hard drive
changes back in the days when I was scared to open the box. ABS is not
just the best computer company I have dealt with; they are one of the
best companies I have ever dealt with period. www.buyabs.com

That's the way I feel about Velocity Micro. I've gotten
three machines from them in the last year and a half. When
my then net-op set up the first one, there were so many
sighs of delight that I asked if he were "entertaining"
someone under my desk. <g> www.velocitymicro.com

Inachu,
From what I've heard, there are no plans for selling through retail outlets.
Strictly via the web right now. At least in the U.S.

What? They wanna save the money for boxed versions? Then I can give one
advice: the most money they can save is to not sell the product at all.
Don't want to sound harsh. But visibility on warehouse shelves is
important for the product being taken serious at the marketplace.
I can only imagine you mean "before Xmas".
