    Default Fusion ( Install Problems

    Hi

Just purchased fusion 9 upgrade. Downloaded it and clicked to install. It
asks me "please insert disk 1 that contains the file layout.bin" Where
should it be looking, the fusion 8 upgarde cd or prevoius version or a
folder somewhere. Some have been downloaded so dont have all cds. Not sure
what this means or what I should do?

    Thanks in advance

    Simon,

Sounds like a bad download. I'd redownload it and try again.

    Simon,

Try emptying your temp folders. Both inside the Windows folder and your user
    temp folders.

Leftover files in there can cause problems with installations of software
    sometimes.

Reboot so you'll hopefully kill off any setup processes that've already
    started and failed.

Then, make a folder and extracting the setup files into it.

    Then run Setup from there.

Do you mean the setup application itself?
Did you click save or open when you downloaded it?
If open, it is in your browser cache and you best find
it and save it somewhere safe.

If you mean the extracted files, check your temp dir's
