Default MLR tabs disappearing when other pages published

I saw a note about disappearing MLR tabs but it was from last year and I had
assumed it would be something that was fixed. I published a page with 5 MLR
tabs and they work fine. However, whenever I update another page in the
site, the tabs go missing and I have to re-upload the page with the MLR's. I
know the workaround was to publish "all assets" when uploading but is this
really the only option? I fear that if I forget that *this* site must have
special treatment, I risk a bunked page until I (or my client) finds it. Is
there a fix that I missed somewhere by chance?
    Thanks,
    Janice

Yup, it's a bug. Bit me, too. After that, I stopped using the MLR.

    Janice,

Yes, for now that is the only solution.

Hopefully the next update will see it fixed.

    Yep,

Had the same problem and understand it's a bug. Stopped using the MLR
component and kind of rolled my own by using my own tabs buttons calling an
iFrame for my content. Works like a charm and it's reliable.

Arrggh!!! Thanks all. That's obviously not the greatest news. Lesson
    learned - check before implementation.
    Thanks again,

I am using MLR and I have not seen this happen. Should I expect it to
happen and not use that feature again? Or, does it only happen when you use
it on multiple pages at a site?

    Margaret,

For me it only manifested this problem when the page was viewed in Firefox.
It always looked fine in IE.

Be sure to always check your work in both browsers.

The publish all changed assets fix works fine.

Well, in Firefox it looks just like it does in IE. For now, I just have one
page with MLR. But I intended to use it on one other page too. So, I will
keep on with my plans and see what happens.
