I have received the same problem to, save the site as a template, (extra
    backup precaution)
open it up and "Damaged Objects have been found"

styles, gone from borders and content gone from page !!!

This is NOT fun !!! - and NOF just crashed.

I have been using NOF since version 2, this happened ONCE in a great while
but this has got to be fixed.

I too have lost two sites in the past four months. A 92 page site
yesterday. Got the "damaged objects have been found" message. Clicked ok.
Got it again. Each time I got the message had to hit the OK button. No
other way out. I then got a message saying something about my styles not
    being available.

When I got through clicking OK and was able to proceed I opened a page in
:Page View" and found the page to be blank. As a matter of fact, all the
pages were blank. When I closed the page and the site NOF made a back up.
In my panic (and losing 92 pages is a panic..talk about your heart in your
mouth) I kept opening backups and closing. I am afraid I wrote over all of
    my backups.

I have the site in a published form on a server but have no faith that I can
create a new nod from an existing website.

Brian is correct, this is a very serious problem.

    Anton,

That did the trick. As an FYI, when I opened up the renamed NOD all the
pages were missing the master border but the style sheet and the layout
    areas were in tact.

    Thank you for the help.

you can't lose all backups in one hit, how many backups do you have in the
backups folder and how many are set to be made in settings

also, the site is still there as it was before the crash, simply fish it out
of the recovery folder, rename it and open as usual
