    Hello Dan,

Some factors in your Windows Registry may have caused the
sbeditorform.ocx file not to be registered when you installed Fusion.

    A possible solution:

In the Netobjects Fusion folder search for the file sbeditorform.ocx

Copy and paste the sbeditorform.ocx into your system 32 directory and
    then register the file
in the Command window (DOS Window)

    Use the following command:

    regsvr32 sbeditorform.ocx

If Fusion is crashing when you o there, you've likely pasted in some
"illegal' content. Like text from a Word document.

Why are you going into HTML Source View anyway? All it shows you is
pre-generation code. Not what will end up being published.

You should never insert code in there. Fusion has many code insertion points
    in Page View.

Default HTML Source Preview Doesn't Work

When I select the HTML Source tab I get an error that tells me I've
    attempted an illegal operation.
Is this common to Fusion 9 or is there something that I should look for?
After I get the error, the program crashes back to desktop.

Hi Dan -- You probably get this a lot, but are you related to Daniel Boone?

Anyway, Don't ever use the HTML source tab. It's like the little toe on
feet. It's there but not used.

To add html code to your pages, do it through the html button on the
properties boxes or by drawing a text box in your page layout and hitting
    Ctrl+T.

To check your html code, do a local publish first and then View Source from
your browser. A much better representation of your final code and one that
    won't crash on you.

Thanks for all the GREAT input.
Problem solved... bottom line, no real reason to use that window.
HEY! What can I say.... having come from the days of FORTRAN, Pascal and
(YIKES) Commodore BASIC, there's just something about the smell of written
code that gets in one's system.... *GRIN*

    Dan

NancyO - nope, not related as far as we know.... Dad just had a great
    sense of humor.
