    Default Update2, centering problem

    Pls look http://www.morsiusgalleria.com/fintesti1/

I just downloaded new update2. Now when you go this site (which should be
ready today...) and move your mouse over the navigation buttons, all
    pictures under that just disappear.

This happened only just now, with update 2. If I uncheck 'Center in
browser', everything is ok. But If I use old system (div align center..),
page do not center at all. So my only bet would be to use this 'Center in
browser', but what happens to the pictures then?

Pls inform, if you have any idea or solution?

I just looked at the individual images - girlmo.jpg, girlmo2.jpg, etc. and
now see what you're trying to do with the rollover effect - but, as you see,
it's not working. So, again, I'd guess that the problem is the
fixed-positioning combined with the rollover code. While the pictures
don't disappear when I view the site in Firefox or Opera, the girl's name
never appears, for instance - i.e., the rollover is not working correctly.
I only discovered the image with her name using the Firefox Developers
    Toolbar.

In layout area (first page again), there is two rollover actions: when you
mouse over characters, their names will be seen.

Navigation buttons are normal nof buttons.

What I do not get is, why layout area is gone if I just move over header or
navigation buttons, as there shouldn't be no connection with header and
layout area (no mutual actions or things like that).

Also is confusing to hear that in fox and opera everything is ok.

Hmm...mystery to me. I'll try to totally remake the first page, if I have
just messed that present one somehow.

    Hi, Kimmo,

Well, on the page the pictures disappear, your rollover code references
these fixed/absolute layout regions and I'd say that's where your problem
    lies. Are they necessary?

    Hi, Kimmo,

When you wrote 'actions' - I thought you meant NetObjects Fusion 'actions' -
    which are Java-based.

I see now that you mean regular Javascript rollovers. Is that correct?

I now see the behavior your mean in Internet Explorer, but not in Firefox or
Opera. I'd say it has to do with the rollover settings. I don't know why
the problem appeared with Update 2 because, to my knowledge, nothing in the
rollover code was changed. If you have a site which was made with Fusion 9
prior to Update 2, you might want to compare the Javascript. It should be
at 'http://morsiusgalleria/assets/rollover.js'. You have other Javascripts
at that location as well - effects.js, script.js, and validation.js. See if
they play a part - but I'd also guess your fixed layout is part of the
    problem.

Oooh, that fixed layout was an mistake, it shouldn't be there. However if I
change that now to dynamic, it dosent change my proglem: still in the first
page layout pictures disappear when mouse goes over header. But now I think
that solution is there that I have somehow made some another layout problem
more than only that one mistake with fixed layout. I have to look that
    further.

Pages with frames center ok, no problem with them.

In the first page there should be NOF generated actions: if you put your
mouse over two characters, their names should be visible.

    Thank you already very much!

    Hi, Kimmo,

Neither Update 2 - which, in this case, is working correctly, nor your
frames are causing any problems. I'd say the problem is with your fixed
layout. By definition 'fixed' works with specific settings relative to a
    'viewport' - e.g., a screen - and '<div align="center">' means 'center no
matter what size screen'. It gets tricky, though, because Fusion's 'fixed
layout' is actually a mixture of 'relative' and 'absolute' positioning as
opposed to 'fixed' positioning in CSS terms. Is there a particular reason
    you're using 'fixed layout'?

The earlier problem with Fusion 9 not centering correctly came from
duplicate code - both 'text-align:center' in the <body> tag and <div
align="center"> below it. This has been corrected.

If you're going to center frames, you've done it correctly; you have to
center both the 'header_yoursite.html' and the 'body_yoursite.html'. They
should be the same width. You'll have problems if you try to center a page
    which uses a left frame.

When you say 'actions' - do you mean Fusion's actions? I believe they're
still based based on using Java, which doesn't work correctly in Internet
Explorer. I don't see any actions here, just your Flash plugin.

    This looks OK to me.

Why are you using frames. That may be your problem.

So you mean, that in the first opening page, if you move your mouse over
buttons, everything is ok? As if I do that, the bottom pictures are gone..
All child pages works just fine, this problem is only in the first page.

Frames are used in the child pages, not in the first one. I hate frames too,
but customer insist that top of the page will always stay foot.
