Re: Slow text boxes
I have had that problem before, and it went away when I learned on this forum
to look for and clear all formating carried over from MS Word. I got rid of
all that formatting, on all 250 or so pages, re-optimized, and the problem went
away.

Slow text boxes
i'm using windows xp and fusion 9 with updates current. my laptop is 1.2 ghz
with 512 mb ram.
i have about a dozen web sites but only have a problem with one:
http://www.cartercountymarket.com/
it's only about 70 pages.
everthing works fine except text boxes. moving them with the arrow key or
tab arrow has a delayed reaction time of 2 to 4 seconds. same thing with
moving the cursor inside the text box. same with highlighting text inside
the box. the properties palette also works normally.
moving images with the arrow key or tab arrow works with no abnormal delay.
site settings are the same as my other sites.
has anyone experienced this type of problem?
Thanks, John

Re: Slow text boxes
I've never copied or imported in any way from any word processor, however,
you're probably still correct. There's more than one way to corrupt a text
box, so I'm going to assume it's happened and start clearing text boxes.
Thanks for the insight.
