Well, you're welcome again, Ulle. I don't know why you say you can't
publish locally, because that's built into Fusion - it just goes right into
the same folder as your user site does - and it's the simplest, quickest way
to check code. Don't even bother with your preview folder. Also, it's a
good idea to clear out that local publish ***folder*** (using Windows
Explorer) each time you local publish just to be safe.

Ok, lets give it a shot

I need the black baground in the sides to make the "main" page in width 800
with out scaling out in the browser, i cant fill so much on it..lol
If im not using the Iframe the green background would scale all out in the
browser and let the textbox or table be at width 800 position...
That was what i found out, the big gab is there because its set in the right
side of the 800 width window, but when im opening my browser im running
1280x1024 the table or text box will still stay on 800.. thats why the big
gab is there.... that it was i think... Dunno why its not dynamic..and just
    scale out like the background..
But i need the black in the sides since i cant set 2 backgrounds on the main
    page..

And yes i need 2 boxes on the same page maybe more in the right side, and
that is not a problem any more... the boxes just stay on 800 and do not
    scaling out in the page..

With "do the same thing" i mean both not going to the right, not the
    function of them.

The page should be centered with a 800 (green) width, with black for the
    rest in the sides..

    Hope thats gonna do it

    Regards
    Ulle

    Default Re: Table Problem

Okay, well let's take one thing at a time.

For a start: Tools-Options-Current Site. Set formatting to CSS, page layout
    to 'dynamic-all browsers'.

(Notice below that I'm talking of two different things with similar names.
One is the layout of your page. The other is a 'layout region' - a Fusion
term for a specific type of table.) When I say 'F3' I mean 'press F3 to
bring up the properties palette if it's not there. The name on the
properties palette will vary, but it's where you define the properties to
    wherever you've just clicked.)

    * Page view - set your page to 'zero margins' and your page width to 800
    pixels.
    * F3 (page layout properties palette) - set your background to black - 2nd
    tab

    On your page -
    * Top left - insert a '*****layout region*****' - this is a flyout from the
    table tool
    * F3 - properties palette - for the layout region - 2nd tab - background -
    set it to green

Local publish - you don't need to publish to the server to see the effect.
You'll see a green region in the middle of a black background.

    In Fusion - page view:
    * If you want two text boxes, insert them with the text box tool wherever
you want them - you can just drag them around to position them. By the way,
you mean a 'gap', I believe, not a 'gab'.

Oh, I assume you want the page to be centered. I hope you're using the
newest version of Fusion which means with AU2 - or 'Update 2'. If you are,
you can just click the 'center in browser' checkbox. If you haven't updated
to ***the newest AU2*** , *uncheck* the 'center in browser' checkbox and go
to the properties palette 'HTML' box and write -

in the 'beginning of body' tab

    <div align="center">

and then in the 'end of body' tab

    </div>.

    Ulle,

Here's a link which shows you that you don't need anything complicated to
have a background in the center of your page which is different from your
    overall background.

The blue is the background of a 'layout region' - a flyout from the table
    tool:
