Stefan: I haven't used NOF's Secure Site, but I use a free php script called
Advanced Transfer Manager at: http://phpatm.com/. I have it in place on two
sites where the directory it's in is password protected with ONE group
password. But I'm about to install it on a new site with a mod they have
that allows "user separation" which means each user can have a unique login
and only see their own directory. Should be slick for my purposes. Hope you
    find it helpful too.

There are various JavaScript "solutions" out there. I put quotes around
"solutions" because I don't know if they absolutely protect your files. Do
some searches for JavaScript+protect (and HTML+Protect) and you may find
    some interesting stuff.

    Some are located @ http://www.java-scripts.net/No-Right-Click-Javascripts

    These are all free scripts

Default Secure Site Component - File Directroies

No responses from the components group where I posted this first, so I try
    in the more open space...

Please find below an exchange I had with NOF support. I like to find a
solution on how to use Secure Site and at the same time protect my
    downloadable files...
In the past I used .htpasswd and .htaccess files, but they don't provide the
    account management Secure Site provides.

    Thanks for your help, Stefan

I have setup Secure Site, but have several files on that portion of the site
which I like to protect as well. Secure Site seams to only protect access to
a specific site, but not to files or a directory it self. What I like to do
    is the following:

    Site:
    Home - Public
    |-My Account - logon to secure site
    |-Downloads - page with links for downloads
    File directories:
    http - pages
    assets - site files
scripts - secure site setup files
secure - protected directory with files for download

I've set this up at my test site, to logon go to
    http://www.solutionsforyou.com/demo/html/my_account.php, user "testuser'
with password "mytest". Navigate to Newsletters, here you will find several
pdf files I like to protect as well from download.

If someone would know the directory structure they could bypass the secure
site and access the files directly.
