    Your hosting account may not support subdirectories. Are you on "free" or "budget" hosting?

    Switch your publish method to flat.

    Adam,

    Could be simply that you're using backslashes instead of regular (forward) slashes.

    All web servers..... *nix or Windows use / type slashes in the paths.

    Hello Adam,

    This usually means you don't have permissions to create the directory in
    question. Also try using html/ as the publish directory.
