    Hi Jim,

    OK.

The most recent msxml 3 is ver 8.70.1104 which is SP 7 {I think}.
There's nothing to be lost by downloading the update and installing it.
My *suspicion* is that the MSxml element on your system has become
corrupted in some manner. This is very difficult to 'trace' remotely,
and as a working hypothesis an SP update might repair the 'damage'
either by replacing the failing element or forcing registration of the API.

MSxml is the COM based API which facilitates parsing of xml in a
meaningful form. Other software on your system may well use it's own
techniques to accomplish this since originally MSxml was an option not
an integral part of the OS {pre XP .NET &tc}.

There's also more recent MSxml products [Microsoft Core XML Services
6.0] but I don't know about their interactivity with NOF. As an aside we
no longer use NOF so I'm unable to run tests here, sorry. Perhaps WSP
will confirm that 6.0 will run NOF, and therefore that might be a better
    upgrade.

    Regards
    Ted
