Can't add Shopping Cart

It could be a simple memory issue. Some things to try:

Remove unused assets.

Re-optimize site.

Close NOF (maybe even restart your PC)

Re-open site and see if things improve.

Please if anyone has any idea what is happening here I would appreciate some
help. I have tried everything I can possibly think of and the shopping cart
has just stopped working, I simply can not add any new items to the site. I
normally would not be so stressed but I go in for surgery on Friday and am
trying to get the rest of the items added to the site since I will not be
able to handle anything for a while until I recover.

I am not getting any kind of error messages, everything else seems to be
working fine on the site, NOF just refuses to let me add any new shopping
cart items, and I only have 35 to begin with, so I don't think having too
many is the issue. Also on the assets tab for the data objects I deleted
the last couple of instances where it showed the catalog name for the items
that did not show up on the page. However when I go back to add an item
these deleted ones still show up in the items catalog list for some reason.

I hope I am explaining everything right, I'm just a bit stressed right now.

One other thing I only have 35 shopping cart items, so it is not like I have
an over abundance of items.

I was updating a website last night and adding some new items. Everything
was going fine until one of the last items I was adding a shopping cart for
just hung up and would no longer let me add the cart. I haven't pasted any
text from Word, learned that lesson early! I don't recall anything odd
happening during the process of adding other shopping cart items, everything
was going along just fine. However it will not let me put the cart on the
page for the remaining items. It brings up the box asking for the
information to add e-commerce catalog, when I create a new e-commerce
catalog and click OK it just brings me back to the layout page and no

Hi Nancy,
Still the same problem. It adds a box to the page, but does not take me to
the page to add the item description, price, options etc. It just returns to
the layout page. I try clicking on the box and nothing, I try clicking on
the catalog properties palette configure button, and nothing. I can delete
the box, but that is about all I can do to it. The odd thing is I can add
items to other sites built in NOF9 (tried that earlier) with no problems so
I don't think it is a program problem.

Any other ideas?
