Freeze when trying to add/edit object html
I've had problems editing/adding html to objects (layout area,
tables, etc. As soon as I press the html button on the object property
NOF freezes. I have to end task to continue.
Any Suggestions

Re: Freeze when trying to add/edit object html
some dll file has become unregistered
the quickest fix is to uninstall/reinstall, then install latest update
an uninstall does not harm your user sites or templates or custom styles or
custom components
be sure the hidden Temp folder is empty prior to install of Nof and prior to
install of update
never click cancel at the end of Nof Installation, let the box vanish by
itself

Re: Freeze when trying to add/edit object html - Updated
Hi Anton,
I did a full uninstall and reinstall with the same problem. When I
click on the html box it acts like the window is open but it doesn't
appear on the screen. Task manager shows the program running not the
usual "not responding"

Re: Freeze when trying to add/edit object html - Updated
did you ever use dual monitors or a larger desktop resolution?
maybe the window is opening outside the viewable area?
is IE installed in your PC? Nof needs IE to function

Re: Freeze when trying to add/edit object html - SUCCESS
Anton,
I hooked up a second monitor as extended desktop. Found it and put it
back where it belongs. GREMLINS *G* Now I'm scratchin' my bald noggin
trying to figure out when that happened.
Thanks for your help.
