Default Warning about the NOF 11 EBook from Sony

Warning about the Macraw Hill NOF 11 instruction book.
I just finished downloading the NOF 11 Ebook from Sony, which I found in a
previous post, which I though would be better than the NOF help line.
Unfortunately, the index references have neither page numbers or links to
the particular page. So how on earth you are supposed to find the page I don't
    know?
I've been on to somebody in Central America for the past hour trying to find
out, but it appears the only way it will work as a link is on a Sony Ebook
    reader device for about $300!!
You also can't download the book into a hard drive PDF reader, like acrobat.
You have to read it in the Sony Library software.
In other words, as a reference book, (as opposed to a novel), it's useless,
and I have requested a refund.
By the way, a quick glance through the book looks to me like it is more or
less a copy of the help files anyway.

Roger you can download the abode reader software for E books and read it
through this software, you dont need the Sony E Book reader, I have the Sony
E Book reader and its not suited to this reference type reading neither is
the Sony E Book software, I use the Abode E book reader software for my
    reference type books.

Jerome dont be put off, I use E Books all the time, you dont need indexes as
the search function is like any other adobe pdf type file, its much quicker
to search and find what you are looking for, like any pdf document it opens
and lists all the pages of the search, much quicker than index section
    format.

Sony told me the index links would only work on the Sony reader for this
particular book, and there are no page numbers for manual searching. They
told me there was no way to download it to a PDF reader because of the
copyright. The contents are linked, but only to the chapter heading, which
does not help in finding a particular item page. I have since looked at it
in more detail and, for me anyway, it is no more helpful than the programme
help, or the NOF 10 user manual which is very extensive.
I'll give them one thing, Sony were really on the ball with a refund and
    re-credited my card immediately.
By far the best help for anyone, for any version of NOF, is this forum. Long
    may it reign!
