    Default Preloading rollovers

    Hi all

I have created a site in NOF 9 which includes targeted rollovers (as per
    Chuck's excellent JavaScript tutorial -
    www.beyondfusion.com/html/tutorial-tr.php).

Is it possible to preload the rollover images to eliminate the delay between
the mouseover and the rollover image appearing?

    Thanks in advance!

    Richard

One trick is to put the images into a separate HTML file as simple image
    links.

Then add an iFrame to the page where you want them and set its dimensions
    to 1px by 1px.

Use Chuck's iFrame generator to get the basic code and paste it into a text
box like any other HTML code.

The iFrame will pull the images into the browser cache because it is loaded
as an integrated frame of the larger web page.

Then since the images are in cache - when you do the rollover the effect
    will be instant.

The iFrame (at 1px x 1px) will not affect your page as it is too small to
    be seen.

    HTH,

    Charles
