    Default email form assistance

    Hi,

I took the advice of some folks here and downloaded Formm@iler. I've been
messing with it for 2 days now trying to get it configured. I've been in
contact with my hosting company who's tried to assist me with it. I've gone
to the guy's site at southern Utah
http://www.suwebs.com/html/formmailer.html to follow his directions. It's
flat out not working. I keep getting the error message Error 500: Internal
    Server Error.

Anyone have some ideas as to how to make this thing work or some other
scripts/options that are available out there?

    Thank you!

What have you tried so far, give us a URL... It's probably something
    simple...

Which version of php does your server host support?

I've just tried to configure it the way it is suggested in the infomation
that's provided. I use premium hosting at Directnic.com. I'm not certain of
the version. Could be one issue there.

The URL for the form itself is
    http://www.renewalranchaz.com/html/subscribe_form.html

Okay. Why are you putting this script into a CGI-BIN?
That is not in the directions.

Well, up to this point I've at least learned one thing: Get help in the
right place. Tech support, at my hosting company, made that suggestion then
he became frustrated and told me he needed to get back to me on that.

    Gee, red flag?

    Well, finally got here.

In the assets that are in use it lists the formmailer.php as type CGI. I've
cleaned out the local publish file. I erased all the files previously on the
host server. I re published and re uploaded. Still doesn't publish
correctly. At least now I get a 404 error message.
