You're using form validation in Fusion it looks like.

It may work ok with Form@ailer as your form handler or it may not.

At the least, I'd remove it and after you get things working try adding it
back in if you want it.

I believe that I followed the instructions regarding the changes to the
script but with the problems with where to put what while mixing that with
the Hosting co. suggestions I got all messed up. I don't know squat about
scripts. I'm green, I'll be the first to admit it.

I guess they're, the instructions, for v.9 except that there was a
difference in the settings option for the form properties window. But
otherwise quite close. I hope to have--no, after this thread I'll
undoubtedly have--similar seamless results as you. Thanks for your
    suggestions and encouragement!

Well Chuck, see response to Nancy!

I'm not certain of their setup as to how they have the PHP installed. Will
    question about that tomorrow.

I'll try getting the files in the same place. As stated in the directions
for Formm@iler, I believe that they should reside in the html directory.

Regarding Form Handler and its remnants, do I then need to delete those? And
to be a bit more specific, what would be described as deletable remnants?

    Thank you!

    Thank you!

From memory, Michael suggests you put the script into the */html/ folder
because (as Chuck says) that's where the page normally is that calls the
script. It should only be a 5 minute job to set it up. The instructions are
for NOF9 (which is what you are using I guess as you posted under that
heading). If you follow the instructions word for word it is really very
simple. We use the script frequently for clients who don't host with us but
want a form mailer script. The latest version also seems to include a number
of enhancements that Michael's tut didn't touch on. In it's basic mode it
works fine. I installed it with NOF10 on a British Telecoms site for a
client 2 days ago. Following the instructions and making minor adjustments
for the differences between V9 and V10, it took about 3 minutes.

<I've gone to the guy's site at southern Utah
    http://www.suwebs.com/html/formmailer.html to follow his directions.>

Quite frankly I don't think you have followed his instructions. If you had
it should have worked. It has for just about everyone else. Retrace your
    steps and follow the instructions.

Moving target. You have remnants of the form-handler in there.

As Nancy said.... why did you put it in the cgi-bin?

    Normally, that's for Perl scripts.

If your host has installed PHP as a CGI (which some hosts do on Windows
servers for some reason), you'll have trouble with just about any PHP
    scripts.

Normally, you place the script in the same folder as your web page that uses
    it.
