    Hi Nancy,

When I perform a local publish NOF creates the cgi-bin directory and places
    the formmailer.php within it.

The good news is that once you get one successful setup under your belt, it
will "click" and be easy the next time.

    ;-)

Let us know how it goes.

    Dean,

    No need to do that.

Upload the attached file ( whatphp.php ) to your host server.

You can do this with a FTP program (such as CuteFTP) or in NOF by adding it
as a file resource and checking the "Always Publish" option.

Then access it with your web browser like this:

    http://www.ezround.com/whatphp.php

(in my case it is in the server root, if NOF published it then it would be
in the html folder so the path would be like this:

    http://www.ezround.com/html/whatphp.php

That will tell you everything you need to know about the PHP and a lot of
other stuff about your server too.

The FormMailer script is easy to use in NOF and it works quite well. You
can even do complex things like the way we used it on www.pagesnip.com
(contact page) where you can send to different email addresses with a drop
    combo box.

    Good luck!

    Default Re: email form assistance

I believe that I followed the instructions regarding the changes to the
script but with the problems with where to put what while mixing that with
the Hosting co. suggestions I got all messed up. I don't know squat about
scripts. I'm green, I'll be the first to admit it.

I guess they're, the instructions, for v.9 except that there was a
difference in the settings option for the form properties window. But
otherwise quite close. I hope to have--no, after this thread I'll
undoubtedly have--similar seamless results as you. Thanks for your
    suggestions and encouragement!
