Default Edit Site Style problem - Help!

    I have installations of NOF 8 & NOF 9.
After doing a 'remove unused active sitestyles' on a NOF8 website I suddenly
cannot edit the site style of ANY of my websites on NOF 8.
I tried converting it into NOF 9 (the website I removed unused site styles)
and now I cant edit ANY site styles on NOF 9 either.

I have tried removing NOF 8 completely & reinstalling, but still no joy.

when I go to the styles graphic tab all it will show is the style properties
(with 'read only' NOT selected) and when I try to click on a banner or
navigation button the properties box doesnt change - ie still just shows the
    style properties.

    Any ideas? Help

I store all my NOF site files on our central server. I have discovered that
if I copy the site files down onto a local pc then I CAN edit the site
    style.
No changes have been made to configuration of my local pc or my server, as
    far as I know.
    Any Ideas. (Chuck?)

    Jill,

If you could formerly edit the active style and it was stored in the site
folder on the server, but now you can't, it almost has to be a server issue.

The file ownership and permissions were probably changed.

Check with the server admin and see if they made any user profile changes
    about time this started happening.
