    Default Databases in Fusion 11

Does Fusion 11 make any major changes for database connection compared
    to Fusion 9?
Is there any improvement to the ecommerce?
The Fusion 11 info lists features, but I don't know how those features
    compare.

    Hi Artman,

    Yes it does.

Database Integration: Fusion 11's database integration fully supports the
creation of data-driven, interactive web sites, turning Fusion 11 into a Web
Application Development System and extending it's reach into the high-end
    enterprise web development space.

Web Designers have now, with Fusion 11 a tool which will seamlessly support
the full span of web development, from simple static websites to highly
    interactive, data-driven web sites.

Fusion 11 database system offers support for all commercially relevant
databases, web servers and server-and-client side technologies.

    Chris,

glad to hear how much efforts (and money) have been invested in the
    development of NetObjects Fusion.

I would be happy if NOF will regain its place among the first row of web
design tools which it always had for me and where it belongs.

When will we see extended press releases and product overviews from WSP
(future Web.com) as well as the first reviews? As late as the boxed
    version will ship?

    Best,

    Peter

I read some more about database connectivity today in my mail and also
    found the user guide.

    "ALL commercially relevant . . . server"

I just searched through the online NOF 11 UserGuide.pdf and there is not one
    single mention of ASP.Net.

Is WSP/NetObjects aware Microsoft has officially deprecated ASP in favor of
    ASP.Net?!

Does NOF 11 currently support ASP.Net with any bundled (in ASP.Net 3.5)
components like ListView or DataPager and technologies like LINQ?

If not, will NOF ever support ASP.Net?

Without support for such technologies (I would also add JSP and maybe CF to
this) claiming NOF 11 is "extending it's reach into the high-end enterprise
web development space" rings completely hollow. Hopefully I've overlooked
something and my criticism is inappropriate.

NOF 11 looks to have some amazing improvements. If you can confirm the
existence of even basic ASP.Net components, I'll purchase today!

    Felix
