I've started a general discussion of Visual Lightbox in the general discussion area, since this seems to have diverged from a "suggestion".

The new thread can be found here:

I thoroughly agree with alot of you guys. The core of NOF is extremely well built and matured. The main thing that needs to be done is to get alot of the components up to scratch with the quality and calibre of modern scripts that are equivalent. I use a license version of Floatbox for a domain and the results turn out great. For all my other sites I use Slimbox2 for photo galleries. Now that I've found CSS3 examples fo drop shadows, I've been using these for thumbnails without the need of doing them in PS CS3 and saving as PNG's!

Also everyone would probably agree that the NOF rendering engine needs a serious overhaul to the latest version of IE or whatever it uses, for PNG transparency and speed.

I am a non-technical user of Fusion 11 and wonder where I get instructions to insert Visual Lightbox into NOF? I am interested in the free slideshow maker too, but also wonder how to put into NOF. If you buy it as a business user you can also get a gallery maker and insert video. I am wondering if we purchase this, we are a charity www.kelston.org.uk, would I be able solve all my photo and video needs? I notice you can only put one gallery onto a page.

    Thanks, Cliff

Thanks Thomas, but I am a non-tehnical user and I have no idea how to put in code etc as in your tutorial. The auto translation is not easy to understand. Thanks though. I guess it doesn't go into NOF without programming knowledge. Cliff

Personally I do not have too much of a problem with the NOF java Gallery. Images are reasonably safe from being taken from your site without permission and easy to set up once you fiddle with the templates. But it is not search engine friendly. All the picture titles, whislt they appear on the gallery can not be searched for.

I have looked, but not been able to find answers to the following. Does Lytebox display Picture titles (not seperately added descriptions) and make the pictures safe from (easy) piracy?

Thankyou und Vilen Dank im voraus
