    Default Ad banner

Is there a way I can get the cursor to change from the arrow pointer to the finger pointer on my banner ads? Without the change, not many people would know they can click on the banner.

    Thanks,

That should happen automatically if the ad banner is a link. If it's not coming up as a hand cursor then I would suggest the ad banner doesn't link to anything, so you need to look ast the code on the banner. A URL will help if you still have issues.

All of the ad banners are links, but the cursor doesn't change when placed on the banner.

Without the cursor changing, people aren't as likely to click the ad banner and get sent to the approriate URL.

Is there a setting I need to change?

    Can you post a URL?

Are the add banners on a rotation? Are you using a component?

    My website is: www.ilsnow.com

The ad banners are on a rotation on the top and bottom of each page.

I'm using the Netobjects Standard Component Ad Banner.

Sorry... your topic must have gotten lost

The rotating banner on that page uses a java applet.

You can use javascript and then you will get the hand/link icon when mouse over.

There are LOTS of scripts that will do this

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&s...+image&spell=1

I do something similar on gotFusion except I do a random pull from a database on each page load

If you get stuck post back. Most of the scripts I looked at required a function in the head and a trigger on the page. If you have not done this before it can be a little confusing. Pick a script and if you have problems come on back and post a URL of the script and ask for some help on incorporating it.

So you're saying that Netobjects Fusion doesn't use Javascript for ad banners and that I need to use a third-party software to post the banner ads get the hand/link icon when mouse over.

Will try that and see where that goes.

    Thanks,

You could alternatively use the Rotating Picture component in NOF. The only difference is the ability to pick a transition effect between them but does everything else the Ad Banner does and shows the hand icon.
