    Hi Grant,

I would say that you did a work-around but not the real solution.

You should not have to run either of those as administrator. I have both
on my vista machine and they run as they should.

Glad it is working for you.

    Gary

    Hi,

I've just upgraded from NOF 9 to NOF 11 and am having the same problems.
I've tried starting a new blank site and unchecked the Read-only option on
the Active SiteStyle (Glasgow -Teal & Silver) but I still can't edit
    anything.
The path to my usersites and styles is C:\Users\<user
    name>\Documents\NetObjects Fusion 11.0\User Sites\Test 3\Styles
    I'm using Vista Ultimate 32bit with SP1

    I hope somebody can help.

    Lee.

Right-click on the NOF11 shortcut and select the "Run as Administrator"
option. I think that will help you.

    Vista is tight about permissions.

    Good luck!

    Hi Charles,

Thanks, that does indeed solve the problem but I'm surprised that I'm having
to do this with a brand new piece of software which I assumed would work
with Vista 'out of the box'.
This will catch a lot of NOF/Vista users out.

WSP has been making diligent efforts to move NOF11 into compliance with the
Microsoft standards for Vista (that is why the program puts certain
    resources new default folder locations).

Vista is a whole new beast for software developers and it is very easy for
a complex program like NOF to have the odd occasional setting that is still
in the old Registry or folder location. Since Vista does not allow
anything but READ access in those locations, problems like the one you saw
    occur.

I'm sure that they will look into the issue and that it will be corrected.

    ;-)
