its easy to set up, but suffers from spam, I eventually gave up, as the spam

    Hi
    I used it at

    http://www.bringbacktheswanseacorkfe...e-petition.php

But had to put in a fair bit of anti-spam filtering by hacking the php
scripts - as otherwise it quickly filled with adverts for pharma sites!

If you're happy to do the legwork then you can alway put it on
'moderation' - in which case you can simply 'delete' all the spam.

It was a while back - but the filtering consisted of looking for
all the usual suspects 'viagra' etc, and rejecting those submissions.
The odd spammer still gets through - but the guestbook is 100% moderated
anyway - so it's not a big deal.

I also hacked the format about a little <g> -
but, just like the road-mender's broom - it's still the same script
    (more or less!)

    Stu,

Tried the NOF Guestbook but didn't like it. I ended up using a freebie I
    found here: http://carbonize.co.uk/Lazarus/

Added to my Fusion Sites here:
    http://www.mansfieldscouting.com/gue.../guestbook.php &
    http://www.crew121.com/guestbook/guestbook.php

    and a non-Fusion site here:
    http://www.teambowditch.com/zenphoto/pages/Guestbook

So far so good... no issues.
